Act Now
to Stop the "Robin Hoods in Reverse"
Dear Ed Hartman,
The
U.S. House of Representatives will vote as soon as today to
give $70 billion worth of tax breaks to the wealthy.
These tax cuts will be paid for by slashing
spending on programs that help lower- and middle-income
Americans –
programs like college student loans, Food Stamps and
Medicaid.
The vote is going to be extremely close, and moderate
Republicans are nervous about the idea of putting the needs
of the wealthy ahead of the needs of their constituents.
We must let them know that we are watching on this
important vote.
Act now to stop these "Robin Hoods in reverse." Click
the button below to send a message to your Representative
and Senators, and tell them to get their priorities
straight.
