October 31, 2006
With just six days left until Election Day, there’s an indisputable energy in
the air. Working families have had enough of the corruption in Washington. We’ve
had enough of the skyrocketing costs of health care. We’ve had enough of the
Bush administration’s misplaced priorities. And we’re doing something about it.
From Maine to California, AFSCME members are knocking on doors, making phone
calls, and urging fellow union members to get out and vote next Tuesday.

effort in Ohio and AFSCME member Regina Flemister.
Experts say that nearly half of eligible voters will not go to the polls next
week. This means that in key races across the country, the union vote could be
the deciding factor. That’s why it’s so important that all of us, who do not
just want to stay the course, vote on November 7.
Let us know that you’re voting next Tuesday by clicking here and signing the
AFSCME Pledge To Vote.
